This edition of the newsletter marks a special occasion—it’s approximately one full month since I launched the paid offering of Queering the Burbs and I continue to be so floored by the support you all have shown me.

When I first nervously checked the “paid” box on the back-end of this platform and then proceeded to put together the first edition of this monthly mixtape, I truly didn’t think more than maybe a dozen or so folks would be interested, and you all have already far surpassed that expectation.

I don’t know how to say thank you enough, so I thought I’d use this space this month to explain why a monthly mixtape was one of the first subscriber perks that came to mind when I decided to explore taking the newsletter paid.
